We could all define “happy” differently,
my definition is living life the way you choose to live it.

It is feeling joy each day, even though we also feel pain. It is finding peace inside of us, even in the chaos of a day, or challenges that we are faced with. It is creating the life we desire, as opposed to letting life happen to us. It is raising our level of expectation, not settling, changing our thinking so that we can expect more in every area of our life. It is the realization that we can be happy and we are empowered to be that way, not alone, but more importantly to build each other up in a way that brings us even more fulfillment. It is the realization that we can be happy, and that we are empowered to be that way—not on our own, but in a way that brings us even more fulfillment by building each other up.

Modern day women are busy; we cannot catch our tails most of the time. We juggle more balls than a juggler on the street; we take care of everything and everyone. We put out fires all day long, there is hardly any time left for us and when there is, we are play catch up often times rather than doing what it is we really want to do.

In this whirlwind of life and it’s demands, we rarely take time out to plan for our life, or give more thought to what it is that we want beyond the obvious (the important people in it). Some of us give thought and have great ideas floating around in our head but we don’t take action. We say we will do it “when we finish this or when that happens.” We say that our life is just too busy and now is not a good time.
